320 RWHP N/A 302
I HAVE PLANS ON DOING A SET OF AFR 185 WITH UPGRADED SPRINGS, LIGHTLY PORTED, PORT MATCHING COBRA INTAKE, CUSTOM GRIND CAM, LONG TUBE/PROCHAMBER/FLOWS AND ALL THE OTHER BOLT ONS. I DO KNOW ON A STOCK 302 I WILL NEED TO NOTCH THE PISTONS, BUT I JUST WANT TO HEAR OTHER PEOPLES INPUT ON WHAT THEY THINK IT'LL MAKE. IVE SEEN SET UPS LIKE THAT ON LINE SAYING THEY MAKE 340 + BUT ALOT OF PEOPLE ARE BS. DOES 320 WITH A NICE TUNE SOUND REASONABLE?

if the heads get ported, and a better intake(rpm 2 or systemax) maybe some port work on that too, and a big cam, custom ofcourse but tell whoever makes it you want a nasty one. and 300 atleast, if not more. but this is only with a manual on a normal dyno, not a mustang dyno.

i just remembered they did a stock short block in one of the magazines using a n-51hr cam from anderson, trickflow heads, and typhoon intake and made over 300hp, think it was 320hp, 347trq.... so i guess it is more then possible

^^^i actually think they made a little more than that.
but YOU WILL need to notch the pistons for the afr 185's on the stock block, and yes up the intake and seek out a custom cam if u want to take full advantage of your combo ...

I have a buddy who has a 94 gt, lightly PnP GT40xs, e cam, matching cobra intake and bolt ons and he laid down 292 rwhp and 407 on 125 shot. id imagine afr should outflow them, plus a matching cam and intake to go with it.
