I like both carbs. I'd have to flip a coin on which one to use. The Thunder AVS is a good carb.

Yea, the Edelbrock seems cheap and cheesy IMO. I just was not impressed. I'm very happy with the Holley though.

If you don't know how to tune a carb then stay away from them. 90% or mroe of carbed setups don't run nearly as well as they should, and most run like crap, because the people that are tuning them don't have a clue about what they're doing.

They each have their advantages and disadvantages, but a carb's benefits are only realized when it's properly tuned, which most aren't.
