i use 50/50 premix stuff thats in a yellow bottle that has a penguin on the front....just cause its cheap and for the most part....coolant is coolant. but there are more specific kinds for certain things and additives and what not. depends on what your doing and what your needs are.

for all others notice my disclaimer^^ lol

green however, I mix it with distilled water for my own rides so less impurities are induced into the system

I use the O'reillys store brand, because it is cheap and green. Alot of other brands are kind of brown in color these days. I like my antifreeze to be green.

I mosty use Motorcraft green mixed fitty/fitty with distilled water. Reason is because of the lower silicates in it than other brands. I am pretty sure it is the same as regular Zerex green though. There are some green brands that don't contain any silicates, but those wouldn't work well with giving certain metals the proper coating that they need. But coolant with too much silicate in it may cause water pump failure in the long run.
The last time I pulled my timing cover, I didn't have time to go to the dealer and get motorcraft, so I used Chevron brand that I had laying around.

In my 91 GMC that I had, I always used Prestone with tap water and had the intake gasket blow coolant, then I had a radiator swell and it leaked, and the water pump went out. So I stay away from prestone now.
