umm....you supposedly had a nearly 800hp camaro and have to ask us about your suspension set up?

and you want to upgrade the "front control arms" lawlz

in any case:

full length sub frames w/ cross brace and lower tq box reinforcement from BOI
welded up seams on the tq boxes
u/l control arms w/ bolt kit from UPR
eibach drag launch spring w/ airbag
strange engineering adj, shocks n struts

coming soon

summit "pro star" knock offs skinnies in the front
MT ET streets
PA racing tube k member /w tube A arms w/ perches for my drag launches
and i might trade out my control arms for adjustables from UPR

Camaro was part of a will a family member left me. I simply got the car and drove it lol. Though I did end up building the engine. Even if I did know a whole lot about suspension I would rather get input from people with experiance as I am new to fords. I am no expert at anything lol. I am here for opinions and knowledge

their thread didnt specify weather or not it was chromoly or mild steel. i went home from work early otherwise id post up a link. i just assumed it was people DD'ing a chromoly unit.
Nope, haven't heard anything about that. I'm sure Spence could fill you in though. I would def NOT be running chromly on the street as a dd.

ah its kool man, im not talkin shizz or anything, but boasting your record and then asking for help makes you come off arrogant since its the interent and nobody knows you. im far from pro at this stuff but ive done lots of research and im extremely pleased with the outcome of the products i've bought. the hardest part was getting out all the 20 year old stock crap. installed everything myself without help except for the questions i've asked here on the forum. use the tech section to ask questions and boast in general discussion once you complete everything

good luck with your project, let me know if you have questions about the stuff i bought or my build

i emailed him, so hopefully he has some insight. the more i think about it the more im willing to bet those people with the issues are using chromoly as a DD.

Yeah, when I asked him about the difference, he specifically said to get the mild steal for that reason. The chromoly is just to brittle for the street.
