Truer words have never been written!

A Edelbrock 625 or a Holley 600 are ideal for your car.
Out of the box, they both run rich. Jet them down and GO!

I have the Carter/ Edelbrock carbs on four of my cars.
I have several different Holley's on a bunch more.

i plan on getting either a 347 stroker, or just getting heads and a cam sometime this next year. lol i just haven't had any luck with this carb, and the whole idling at 2k+ at stoplights got annoying the past 2 days. time for something different.

oh and if i touch my idle screw it dies. i have to turn off and turn my car back on for it to idle back down to ~850 after driving it at all, or touching the gas.

I had an edelbrock 650 on my 350 and had the same problems. I dont think I will ever buy annother one again! Id say go with Holley

Call Patrick at Pro-Systems and give him all of your specs and he will custom make you a carb for your engine...AAANNNNDDD it is WAYYYY cheaper than anything off the shelf
