Default Need carb opinions

I have a 1988 roller block, rpm airgap intake and nitrous spacer on my car, my current carb just has to go, so i'm looking for a new carb asap.

Have the money just don't know what to go with.... the one i have cuts out constantly after being tuned by 3 different people and still no luck. and now it won't idle any slower than 2k.

Need help!!!! what carb should i go with.... looking at either demon or holley.

don't want another edelbrock. what would work good with the rpm airgap intake, and nitrous spacer?

I run holley 650 dp's on my 302's with good throttle response, they aren't mpg friendly but work well for mild builds

Our car drinks gas, but it's got a lot done to it.

Our carb does fun wide open, it has this little tiny studder around 2500 RPM-ish. Like you roll onto the gas and it revs, hit's that little rough spot, really fast, then it just takes right off and never has any issues.

I can't really count it since all my odometers and stuff don't read correctly after swapping everything out. But I'll tell you, she likes the fuel.

If you are going to guys that cant tune an edelbrock/carter those guys are lost in space as those are the simplest carbs to dial in. On that not dont even think about a junk demon. A decent 4150 series holley 650 and away you go. Problem is if there is a screw some wannabe racercar guy will turn it.
