Default BACKSEAT AND A ROLL CAGE

Does any one know if you can put in a roll cage mininum 8 point and still have a functional backseat? I need a cage but would like to fit 3 people. A reverse mclaren setup would be retarded so would 4 bucket seats.any tips or info would be nice.

At the minimum it would be like crawling on a jungle gym. The bar that goes across the back of the seats is in the way at a min. on second thought if it is a hatch they could go in that way, if that's the case your friends have no shame.

it would be alright if the bar that went across the seat could swing out or be removable so you can get people back there then put it back in for the track.but it would feel like your on a roller coaster sitting back there.

I'm not sure u could pass a tec inspection like that. It depends on how fast he plans on going and what rule book the local track go by.

8 point rollbar and backseat= stupid idea as u would have to climb through like a monkey to get in there

are u just puttin the cage in for looks or functionability as if you need it then there is no reason really for the backseat....safety factor in my eyes

we still have the back seat in my wife's car with a 6 we do not have the side kicker bars that weld to the main hoop and come down. My kids ride in the back some times and it is a REAL PAIN for them to get in and out. now if the kicker bars were there it would be much harder dare I say it would not happen for the boy he is right at 200#

I know a bolt in cross bar isn't nhra legal and shouldn't pass tech at a track.
