help with h/i/c

Default help with h/i/c

looking to turn the motor basically to a cobra engine.i know what I'm doing heads and intake but need help with the cam.i got some info that the cobra cam .480 lift and 270/270 duration thats what i found dont know if its right.do i need that exact cam if im doing gt40 heads intake or just close to that?what company(s) should i be looking at?also im going to need to get bigger injectors i think the cobra has 24lb instead of 19lb?thanks

normally with a full HCI is a good idea to upgrade the fuel system...especially if you are going to expand later on it.

just curious, any particular reason you are wanting to just go with the specs of the cobra motor? you can get a combo to produce more power for about the same money maybe little more.

what kind of budget are lookin at?

not a big budget just enough to get by...i found a good deal on a cobra intake and heads so i figure get the cam and injectors and i have a cobra engine.idono if i get cleaned and ported and a little bigger of a cam i guess i could make a little more power.

If I were you I'd look at all the options, you might find you can spend your money correctly and have a better motor than a cobra motor.

I'd have the gt-40 heads ported and a custom cam designed and with supporting bolt ons 300 rwhp shouldn't be a hard figure to reach

how much is it to get a custom cam desinged comparded to just buying a cam?

price quotes are on there, its very worth the money since it will be exactly what you are wanting for your combo.

yea gt40 heads ported and custom cam with cobra or gt40 tube intake and bolt ons, 300 rwhp shouldnt be tough
