Default Kenne Bell on 93 lx. Need Help

Just bought a kenne bell 8lb 1.5 with a cobra lower. It comes with a fmu. My car is stock beside gears. I won't increase the pully. It comes with a 4 lb also. What all do I need to do? Please say prefab chip with link and not dyno tune. *fingers crossed*

dyno tune. every car is different ma man. anytime you go boosted you should get a tune. you can tune it yourself if you wanna spend the money and that way you can adjust it yourself in the future.

tweecer + wide band = self tuning.

i have a friend that can work on a promod but, that car isn't fuel injected. Honestly, I wouldn't trust anyone around here to do it. Me personally, i don't know anything about tuning but, would like to learn. Anyone know if bennet racing does it?

you can conservatively tune it yourself until you can afford a dyno tune or stand alone unit. turn up the FP, retard your timing a bit just to make sure you dont lean out under load. did you get upgraded injectors, adj. FPR and fuel pump? you're gonna need those.

It didn't come with that stuff. He said the car had 24lb injectors. I assume I need that or 30. A 255gph pump is going in. I guess I need to get a aftermarket fuel pressure reg if you think I need one. A maf and 65 mm throttle body. I guess i need to set the timing to 4? (seems low but, 93s don't have forged pistons) Maybe a 6al with boost retard?

wait a sec, set the timing to 4??? that will be too low i believe... I'd say a safe zone would be to set a 8 or 9, then go up or down if needed, but 4 seems toooo low to me.

your right, i was thinking of what i set my timing to on my toyota pickup. My buddy has a paxton 1220 on his and his is still on 12 with nothing more than a fmu. My luck the car would detonate and sit in the yard for a year.

A blower motor without a tune is like a Virgin going to make a Porno film. Something is going to break and it's going to be painful

I contacted Jon at Bennett Racing. He said there is a dyno tune accross the street from him. What size injectors, Maf and throttle body should I buy and which brand? The guy said the car had 24s.
