Default Eat your heart out! 56K BEWARE!!!

Stumbled upon some pictures I took of my car last year along Highway 1 (PCH for you so-cal kids) just north of Santa Cruz. So for all those of you who talk bad about California.......... eat your heart out.

PS. I threw in a few pictures of my favorite cars my grandfather owned. He has owned 60+ collector cars, including three Dearborn Award winners and my car.

Enjoy

1951 Mercury Convertible

1970 Mercury Cougar 428 SCJ
"Top Hat" car meaning it was built for a Ford Executive. Came with just about every option including Houndstooth top and interior trim.

1969 Shelby GT500 Vert
428 SCJ
4-speed
Drag Pack
Race Pack
Grabber Green
Kinda Rare

1970 Ford "Cyclone" Ranchero
1970 Ford Torino 429 SCJ 4 speed with a Cyclone front end retro fit. Motor was built with bigger cam and ported heads/intake and full exhaust(hard to remember the details, I was 18 when he sold it). Scariest car I've ever driven.

1968 Mercury Cougar Dan Gurney Special
390 4V

I haven't done the whole thing but I have done San Luis to SF and can't see how it could get any prettier then the Big Sur area.

That would be fun. I would almost be afraid because those turns are so tempting and if you slip up you can be down those cliffs lol. That might hurt a little.

Great cars

Nice I like the KDWs on your car. Sweet collection of older cars. The Cyclone Spolier Ranchero is my favorite. I had a 70 Cougar almost like the one pictured with a 428CJ in triple black. Mine wasnt a Top Hat but just an XR7 special order car. They were much more refined than the Mustang while sharing the same platform. They were very nice cars. I had to look away, I was slobbering all over myself
