Default is this a good buy?

hi since i have a plan on going f/i and going with a strong motor in the summer is this a good idea? http://seattle.craigslist.org/oly/pts/985611772.html or do i have to start with something new? will this engine support high hp? is there a forged kit for it?

...It will work! ...kits sold to mount them ...seems a little $$$, but if you want to got the 460ci route...

It think it is high because all you will probably use is the the block. If you want to make decent power you will go with aluminum heads and a forged rotating assembly. Also he said the top hose blew off of it, I wonder if he ruined it when that happened and now he is trying to sell it. If you are looking for a 460 also watch out for people selling a D-0-V-E block and heads. Don't let them act like its Dove parts (as in Jim Dove), D-0-V-E is just the casting numbers of the block.
