Default how much money is needed to make a 5.0 fast

Now im not talking 10's in the 1/4 fast but maybe a good solid 12-13 second passer..
Or maybe even enough to make the front wheels lift off the ground on launch...
I have been thinking about getting an 87-93 mustang but have been wondering the fight that im going to have to put into it to make it race-worthy...
thanks guys

you can put exhaust, cai, gears, and maybe an intake and you'll have a 13 sec car

depends on how much you want to spend a mid 12 sec car shouldn't take much with proper h/c/i and suspension set up

for $1500 you can get a good set of heads and a cam and you could hit low 13's easily and on street tires no less(if you can drive)
