3.73s are a good choice but 3.55s are good as well. i have the 3.73s and i like em. it depends on how much ur gonna get on it. 3.55 will be a little better for the highway cruising but there isnt all that much difference between the two. if u plan on anything like 86 5.0L then id choose the 3.55 but if ur stayin stockish then 3.73

Just for the record - if your car is an automatic, get 410's. If it's a manual, get either those or the 373's. No point in dropping a good wad of cash just to replace the same part twice because you were disappointed with the results.

3:73's for your car.

I have a simple starting rule for gears. Small block cars start with 3:73 Big Block Cars 3:42s as basic nice street set up. Depending on how your engine goes from there you can can swap. 3:73 IMO is the best street gear available. Gives you great performance and decent fuel milage and cruising rpm.

id say 3:73's, thats what i plan on, i hear of way more people going w/ 3:73's than 3:55's. Ive heard from a few people saying they wish they went 4:10 and not down to a 3:55.

This is kinda late, but rogue hoods are no laughing matter:sad:

Regarding the actual topic of the thread, I would go 3.73's. From what I've read, they seem to be the best all around gear for a street car.
