Default Springs!!

I'm ready to order new springs...I hate the way my car sits right now. It's a '90 LX if that makes a difference. Quick question. My local mustang shop suggested getting the ford C springs but i'm not sure if that is enough drop. The other local mustang shop sells MaxSpeed springs and he says they are very nice and he has persoanlly put them on his mustangs. He says those give 1 1/2" drop in front and 1 3/4" in back. What would you do?

Those C springs look real nice! Are those just the springs or did you have any other suspension components put on too?

edit-- Do you have any other pics of that ride?

Long story....but I owned the car new for 17 years, purchased new!...saw only 9 rainy day, featured in many mags over the years...had a great time with the GT...just the right time IMO

Ran a best of 10.51 @132.35 with a Vortech T-trim, 302, 3.55's & Tremec 3550...basically lost interest (if you can believe that) after I purchased the '03 Cobra! Got my asking $$$ and I was happy...

Sold the car with a 6# Powerdyne that ran a 11.65 @119.6 with the Nitto 275 DR's...

I see betsy!

anyway, OP:

Maxspeeds are a good spring. what would you be paying? C springs give a good drop for the price. but if its not a drop, you could take out the iso's for another .5" drop or so(although some people will object to this).

are you on stock struts/shocks? Id suggest picking up some Tokico blues(HP's), they are about 260 for the set. those with some C springs or any lowering springs will feel great- stock struts/shocks, not so much.
