I am not saying your wrong but, if my car runs on 87 octane then why would they lower it a point 2 years later? I have rode in a 95 before. They are heavy and slow. Why would Ford want to make it slower by lowering the compression?

I dont think a 95 is slower than a 93 and i dont think they are that slow stock

How do you test the car to know if its 8:1 or 9:1 ... etc

I read it wrong, your car isn't listed

also 12's may be achieved with those heads. I really don't know. I have never been to a 1/4 mile track. All we have is 1/8 mile tracks around here.
You can get an 8:1 motor down to about a 7.20 in an 1/8 porting the heads yourself. My friend put a 144 blower on his, gave it some nitrous with 3.73 gears to get that time.

I think I can 300 rwhp with that head and cam combo and this trickflow intake manifold everything else in the engine is stock, 75 mm throttle body, bbk cold air intake, long tube headers (soon), bbk x pipe no cats, flow master cat back,sub frame connectors, control arms, eibach pro kit, tires, 4.10 gears, egr delete, smog delete.... I hope and pray the car ran like 15's stock

mustang motors have 9:1 compression.

adding more compression adds more horsepower. its as simple as that.

there has been 100% stock foxes with suspention modifications running 12's.


so yes, a fox with ported heads and cam (weight reduction, slicks, suspention mods) would get into the 12's.
