Cylinder Heads

First thing I would do is address the problem that caused the bent valve. You can port an E7 and make it flow pretty decent But the GT40 would be better if you can find a set of low mileage ones. As far as the Pro-Comps go I don't like them. I know a few guys who run them and havent had any issues with them but the sets I've had run through my shop had horrible flow at low lift, The flow was way off from port to port. I'd check ebay for a set of worked GT40s if money is tight. A lot of guys spend 5-700 dollars on a set of GT40s and then move into something like a TrickFlow, AFR or Edelbrock head and want to offset the cost by selling the GT40s. If you go to a salvage yard to find the heads you may wind up with a set of 300,000 mile heads and end up spending more money in them than they are worth.

Hahaha I talked to some shops today and said unless its for a chevy pro comps are junk i want gt40s but finding a set is hard i can find the p's all day any day. the retainer busted on my e7 busted but i can port polish and have the head fixed for 200 so i dunno what to do so many heads out there

but hey, i can call out as many people as i want i just gotta hope i can back it up in the summer haha.
now back on topic...
look on ebay for the gt40's. or even try the scrapyards, but look on the odometer before you pull the heads off the car, make sure theres not too many miles on them. I wouldn't buy the thumpers, they seem overpriced to me.
