Default Flowmaster american thunder or Force ll?

So whats the difference between the american thunder and force ll exhaust kits. I want to get a brand new flowmaster exhaust kit but don't know which one to get. I want the louder one of course. On flowmasters website they have 40 series mufflers, 40 series delta flow, 50 series, etc.-all of which you can hear samples of. but what muffler belongs to which of the two kits? Also I would love for the tailpipes to be seen hanging out the back. Does flowmaster provide long enough pipes for this on a 92 GT? thankyou

Okay back when I bought my Flowmasters (few years ago) it went like this:

American Thunder = 2 chamber 40 series delta flow mufflers
Force II = 3 chambers 50 series delta flow mufflers

American Thunder = Louder
Force II = no drone and more reasonable for cruising, still screams at WOT

Both will be quiet with the stock H pipe.

I had the American Thunder, i hated the drone. If i ever get Flows again (doubtful) it will be the Force IIs.

Flowmaster offers 2.5" tailpipes that go out to about the end of the bumper, what do you mean "hanging out the back?"

nobody likes flowmaster anymore! I love their sound especially on mustangs. I never liked magnaflow. what I mean by the tailpipes hanging out the back is exactly that. I just want them visible about an inch and a half below the bumper instead of the bumper covering the tips. I just like the look.

Eh I had flowmasters in the spring, then switched to my dynomax bullets, not really a fan of these no more so ill proly go pick up a set of super44's I personally love the sound of them. Oh and the tailpipes will not stick out the back with the GT bumper.

well maybe I should just forget it. I have the flowmaster mufflers (not sure which ones) w/ stock pipes. Do the flowmaster pipes make a difference in how it sounds? the pipes are bigger I know, and will increase airflow and maybe HP, but I don't know about sound difference. should I just get an h pipe? An aftermarket H pipe w/ cats I've heard doesn't sound all that much louder. Is that true?

They would quiet down a 2 chamber muffler some compared to an h-pipe without cats.
