Default Intake sensors and hight ?

What are the dimensions of the factory intake manifold, and also would someone be able to give me a list of the sensors that are attached to the upper and lower manifolds as well as the throttle body (including mechanisms such as the iac) Thanks.

factory intake is 10.5 inches tall but i dont know how wide it is. why does that matter?

Looking at an rmp airgap and an elbo, trying to figgure out if it fits.

What is ACT

An airgap and an elbo comes out to 12.5" I suppose if there is 2" of clearance at full tension on the mounts it should be fine.

air charge temp

when i intalled my typhoon(new rubber motor mounts) it measured at 11" to the highest point and with a 1" phenolic space it hits my stock hood. at full tilt my intake will tap the hood support right now.

I have poly mounts so the give should be slightly less. It will also just contact at the one point where the elbo is, rather than the entire intake. I will have to go take some clay and put it where the high point will contact, see how much room I have, and then look, if there is clearance issues, for any point I can grind away to give clearance there.

When you say tap I assume you mean just tap not hit (or slam or w/e), do you notice if there is any rub spots on the hood or intake?

yea, i can watch the hood dimple up when i hammer down on it. paint is gone right where it hits. if i cut the hood support away it wouldnt hit but i'd only have about 3/8-1/2 more clearance. still cant run my phenolic spacer. but i got ahold of a fiberglass scoop that i may attach my my hood to give me clearance. or i might end up making my own cowl.

even with poly mounts, 12.5" i'd be surprised if your hood even closes.
