Default Shot of pure O2

I had a weird thought last night, I wonder what would happen or how an engine would perform if a shot of pure oxygen (from a oxygen cylinder). Keep in mind I am not going to do this, it was just a weird idea I got while I was going to sleep.

I had thought about this before also. It would not be as potent as N20. I saw somewhere where they sold kit that shot oxygen or compressed air into a engine.

Yea I knew it wouldn't be as potent as nitrous. I guess it would be like taking a car tuned for colorado's elevation and running it at sea level maybe.

I was thinking maybe if it was hooked into the intake tube like a nitrous line would be.

Well i know that compressed air would as usmc said, be forced induction. I think pure oxygen would just be more pure/efficient.

I wonder if the gas milage would be better lol. If I had a small tank for a cutting torch I would run a small line into the air cleaner and run around for awhile lol.

I saw the add for it in Mustang Monthly I think. It would be pointless though. Why not use nitrous.
