Default ~ GT40 heads & Manifold

What's a good price on an untouched set of GT40 heads with GT40 intake manifold!?

Found some in the paper but am not tooo sure what to offer.

Also...what do I need to do to these if they have all stock parts...springs, lifters etc.

Planning on sending them into Thumper for slight porting and port matching.

thanks

well i just bought my gt40 heads from a salvage yard, found em on a 96 explorer. it had the upper and lower intake on the motor also, but im going carb'd so i didnt need the upper and lower. i only paid $200 for both heads. im not sure about the intake.

good luck!

$200 is a good price. You cant touch 'em on ebay for that. Plus you dont have to pay shipping.

Of course, the less you pay the better!

ok guys $200/$300 are you talking for the Heads AND intake manifold!? Cause that's what I am after. I was thinking that teh 3 piece set (2 heads and the manifold) would be around $400!?

PLUS: These are untouched all stock parts so should I put in new lifters, springs, rockers etc.!? IF so what do you recommend....on a budget remember!?
