Default new best...but no 12's yet

Well guys i went to the track last night. It was a great night of racing. I ran a total of 4 times. First 2 races were back to back. Tweaked it a little and ran the next 2 passes. I DEFINATELY gotta work on fixing this flexing problem I have. It flexed so bad that my driver side front wheel came off of the ground high enough that i felt it come down and hit the surface hard. I think i'm maxed out on power at the moment. I still have other things to do that will add some mph here and there but as it sits i think its the best i can get out of it. I have some steeda full length subframes and some front skinnies. Everything else the same...oh and get this...i weighed in with the race wheels at the track and it weighed 3046 with me in it! Well anyhow..i wont keep you all wondering anymore...pass 1 was a 13.23 @ 101.3 mph and pass 2 was a 13.26 @ 101.2...here are the last 2 timeslips...

PASS 3
.022 reaction
1.704 60ft
5.311
8.338 1/8 80.717 mph
13.181 1/4 101.603 mph

PASS 4
.062 reaction
1.641 60 ft
5.251
8.274 1/8 80.601 mph
13.126 1/4 101.323 mph

I need more top end!!! I'm gonna install my mark vii e-fan hoping to free up some power and maybe give me some more mph...i think i need 103 mph to get that 12 second timeslip...i'm about 1.5 mph away!!!! So close but not quite...

E fan will help you rev up quicker, get to speed quicker. you can always try underdrives if you're tryin to not spend a lot and get everything you can out of it. you can put battery in the trunk. maybe try some drag springs or drag struts. although you said you wil be selling it so i understand you probably dont want to spend a lot since you're saving.

id say underdrives and E fan are some of the cheaper things you can do. im sure those will get you where you want to be.

i have u/d's already...the e-fan should definately help...even a nice cold air kit...like an AFM one with the proper mass air...one of the articles in the mag showed that stock lx hatch running 12's used a mac cold air kit and showed .5 mph when they tested the car out...if the car doesnt sell by end of FEB then i'll put more money in it...so close!

Very good short times. I was launching my car at or around 2400-2600rpms off of the transbrake and my best 60' time was 1.67. The first race of the year for my local track is on Mar.7th and I plan on being there. Hopefully gonna knock off some more ET from short times and 1/4 mile times.
