Default Glow Shift Gauges

Anybody use em? Have any problems with em?

Also, What do I have to do to run an aftermarket speedo? Say I was going to make a new gauge plate and run all aftermarket. Can I just get a general mechanical speedo and have it hook up to my speedo cable and the speed be right and everything? Is it pretty much iniversal?

my buddy has them in his subaru, i'm not a real fan of them. the lights are extremely bright, like really **** you off while your driving bright, and the sending units sucked, for his water temp gauge he had to get an autometer sending unit cause it was way off. not sure how or why. i'd just go wiith one of the versions of autometer, maybe the cobalts, they look sweet.

you can wire em up to the dimmer switch and dim them though as far as I know.

I have my aftermarket water temp gauge wired like that.

yea, well it won't matter for me. I won't have dash lights anymore. I'm going to be completely replacing my factory cluster with all aftermarket gauges in there.
