Default started pulling the engine apart (pictures) update 1/29

well i came home today from work and we had to bring my dog to the vet to be put down, he had limphoma. so we get home and to get my mind off him i went into the garage and started taking the engine apart. here are some pictures for you guys. i didnt get as far as i wanted because i forgot to bring home some tools i needed from work.








got one head off because i got hungry and deciding to come upstairs and make some dinner. ill be back down there in a little bit to get the other head off.

its cool man **** happens.

i would of had the heads off but i forgot to grab my allen keys to take the header bolts off. only took me 2 years to get to that while taking my time. man do i wish i had a compressor and my air tools, i dont know how i used to do everything by hand.

ill be getting an explorer engine soon. i just wanted to start taking this apart and see how bad it was. both front and rear intake gaskets were leaking so bad it was like there was nothing there holding the oil back.
