Doubt?
has anyone here ever had doubt that something on their 5.0 that they have modded will break? this is prolly more OT than 5.0 gen dis. related but I dunno, I'm always afraid that my clutch will burn out or my motor will blow or my front end will fail (did the bearings in april along with new rotors...
anyone feel apprehensive? or is this a normal feeling to have, esp. when your like me, a somewhat broke college lad with a "waiting for the funds" type of list for parts...

if you take the time to do it right, it will perform. when i rebuilt my tranny, man i was so f'in nervous thinkin it would blow up....know what i did? took it out in the street, revvd it up and dumped that bitch and went through some gears. itll go or blow man. i wouldnt worry about it. take your time, do it right and everything will be fine.

thanks kyle, I think I vaugly remember that thread...
out of all the stuff Ive done to this car....I didnt do my clutch... being at school when the old one went out... I was forced to give the work to a shop... woulda been evicted from my townhouse if I got caught with a T-5 in my arms...
I sourced out my fuel tank replacement as well, after replacing my fuel filter this past summer, I vowed never to touch that part of the car again... even after I depressurized the fuel system, I still got a face full of 87 octane... not pleasant... haha
its always a bit unnerving tho, she is mah baby... not even a girl could take her away from me... lol

A buddy and I did all the swap work here in my garage. I didn't build the engine, trans, or rear, but I sure as heck learned how to put 'em in, and get it running ! I thought/think the same thing every time I do something "Ok, nice and easy...it might fall off" lol. The feeling of doing it yourself is sooooooooooo sweeeeeeeet when you get over the jitters, and hammer on the gas like you know you want to . I love it!
