Default questions on 94-95 model

I had a 93 5.0 coupe but sold it a couple of years ago but, now i want another car and can't make my mind up whether to get another 90-93 model or a 94-95 5.0 and i was wondering what is the difference in the motors and which car will hold value the best and will the 94-95 model accept mods well.

There's not really any major differences b/t the Fox and sn95 drivetrain. The main differences lie in the chassis. The sn95 has the 5 lug and 4 wheel disc brakes and a slightly siffer chassis, among other things. They are a bit heavier than the Fox bodies though.

the hp difference is from ford using a different method to dyno their engines, the 93 foxes had 215hp as well.
the computers on the 94/95 cars are a lot more picky about mods and are a little harder to tune, but once you do tune it, they run worlds better than a fox ECU (there's more parameters to tune in the 94/95 ECU for driveability).
the interior is worlds better and more comfortable, and they handle/stop better than a fox body will.
more choices for rims and WAYYYYYYYYYYy better brakes.
as for the holding its value it depends. obviously a clean SN95 will hold its value well if you take car of it or pick a rare model (Cobra, GTS). but as youve probably noticed, clean fox coupes are going for a small fortune nowadays.
in the end its up to you really.

i'm wanting either a coupe or a sn95 car but i have never driven or set in a one of those and i was also wondering if parts and upgrades are as easy to find as the 93 coupe is and also if you do just bolt ons will you still have to get a tune on a sn95 car.

upgrades are just as easy for the sn as it is for the fox. they ride way better, stop better, and imo look better you don't have to get it tuned after bolt ons. you can even get away with a cam without a tune on them, depending on which one you get. but anything more than that (h/c/i, s/c, stroker) will need a tune.

the 94/95's don't really way THAT much more than the Foxes, they do a little but it's not as much as people make it out to be. If you compare the nicer suspension, body, interior etc imo it's well worth the weight difference. And for the most part 94/95 take mods pretty well.
