rear axle bushing
i bought new bushing for the pumpkin on my 8.8, and they have these extra poly things that go over it . what is it? do i install it?

you'll need a special tool to install / remove them, I did minea few months ago and borrowed the tool from a friend and it made the switch easy

are you talking about the donut shaped poly bushing that came with them? mine came with them too but i had no idea where they went and couldnt get anyone else who knew so i left them off.
