We got the springs off craigslist, but as far as we know they should be standard V8 springs. The guy wanted 4 banger springs for his and held on to his V8's, then eventually bought a set of aftermarkets and cleaned out his old V8's.
I do remember the front springs especially were a bear to get in. My dad was about to give up when I came up with the idea of putting wood planks across the engine bay ( empty at that time) and then piling cinder blocks/brick on top of the wood for weight so we could pull the control arm and everything back together to be bolted up. It was a real pita. I think our old 4 bangers are sitting in the garage with the other left over parts though. Hopefully the 4 bangers go back in easier...

I hope it'd be easier getting those 4 bangers back you, it was insane how hard it was to get the v8's in....
And yea, the current stance the car looks like it's always on the move lol. I could only imagine how it would look from the outside when you get on it.

Of it with the V8 springs ? If we change them out there wont be. But there will be this spring. I can't wait. Once spring comes and the salt all washes off the roads I'll get a better rear diff cover, top off the diff with some fluid and drive the car to work, then after work reseal the rear diff and put the new cover on. Once thats done she should be good to go.

lol, if I launched it as is right now, well. Lets say I made it to a paved road with no snow, and launched... Well, actually since the rear diff has leaked all it's fluid out. I'd probably make it halfway out my driveway before the rear end seizes.
