put 4 cylinder springs in the front only they wont lower the rear. if you want to look for a rear upgrade get some 87-88 Tbird Turbo coupe springs then you will be set up like in the hay day of fox factory suspension swaps

Exactly. The reason 4 cylinders lower the car up front is because the weight of the V8 compresses them more then stock. The amount of unsprung rear weight in a 5.0L is the same as it is in a 2.3L.

Why don't you just wait till you can do it right. Spend the $200 for some Eibach's and you will have a great drop and great performance to boot.(Like my 4-eye) You really are not suppose to mix n match springs anyhow.

meh, keep it like it is, put some knoby tires on it, and offroad that be-houch!

mines all stock as far as i know, and i would NOT want to lower it, i dont care how "4x4" it looks, thing scrapes enough as it is, couldent imagine trying to daily drive it with it lowered.

It should even out nicely if you put a 429 or 460 in it.. LOL
Actually they will compress more after it's driven for a few thousand miles.
Maybe put some weigh in the front end some how to help wear shocks out a little faster.

That's a really nice car, I haven't seen one of those around my area for a while.
