Default 84 turbo gt swapped to a 302

So I bought an 84 Mustang off this guy and looked up the VIN code. IT turns out the car was originally a Turbo GT, very rare from what I hear. Anyways, So now I have a carb'd 302 in what I am told once was a FI car. Now I have all these damn wiring harnesses and hacked wires everywhere. Here is my question. Do I need any of these wires and harnesses that are laying around? Whats the best way to get rid of them if they are unneeded? last question, why is there a manifold vacuum hose running into my driver side fender? Thanks in advance I want to clean my engine up and I am willing to take my time as long as I know what to remove. Thanks guys, im pretty sure you will know the answers to these questions, because you all are ON POINT when it comes to the old stangerangs!!!

that really is a shame that someone did that to the car. those 4cyl turbo's were awesome.

I know, when I finally ran the VIN and found out it was originally a Turbo GT I almost wept like a little girl who just found out there isnt a santa clause... its sad. Do you have any idea where the computer is located? if it still has the EEC Im gonna try and sell it to the turbo guys. I hear it is a sweet EEC for turbo swaps n stuff.

REMOVE any wires and hoses that are unnecessary, trace them then remove if they are nor relevant to operation
