Default Precut window tint for 5.0 mustang?

I want to buy some tint, and i have seen the precuts on ebay, is it better to cut it yourself or is it easier to use them. Im looking at getting 25% or 35%
ANy input would be great.
Thanks

Tint is always hard to do yourself. The pro's are obviously that you don't have to worry about fitment, the con however is that you have to line the tint up just right because I'd assume there's no room for error which isn't easy with regular tint.

i have 35% on my foxbody...35 is perfect because its not too dark at night and its not too light during the day...35 is like the standard tint that comes on stock SUV's from what im told..it looks great...i highly recommend taking it to a shop to get it done professionally..doing it yourself usually has problems like folds in the tint and bubbles..also fading is very common..i got mine done for around $125 and its a life time warranty...get it done before the summer because once you get them on, you must keep your windows rolled up for 3 days and you dont want to fry up in the heat of your ride!

i would definatley pay an experienced tinter. I learned on my car, the rollups are some of the hardest of done, the felt needs to be taped off or the felt will bleed and you'll get alot of contamination under the film.

Yeah use an experienced tinter. depending on where you live looks like is what will determine the cost. I saw the other response dude said he paid 189 thats kind of high. make sure and check with state regulations every state has different laws on the percent tint your car can have. I have 20 percent on front 2 windows and 5 percent on the rest looks pretty good all opinion, only cost me about 120. Good luck

i know on gila.com or somthing like that, it says 70% on windows, + rear nothing in the front. However i know i see atleast 35% all the time in my area. Even 5% on a dodge neon. I was thinking of getting 20%, but i dont want any more attention from the cops, u know?

I have 20% on all of my side windows and the back window also have a 6" eyebrow of 20%. Looks great, but it is illegal in my state. I will take the hit from the state if they ever pull me over for it. My car looks good enough right now, most of the time they just want to look over the car and usual talk about the driveline.

The precut window tint on ebay is cut accurately. If you haven't fooled with tint before I would recommend, like every one else, to take it to a professional as long as it doesn't cost too much. I got the precut tint off of ebay and didn't have any fitment issues or fading yet. I put it on about a year and half ago. It cost $25 or 35 for the kit but I had to take it a professional to get the back hatch done. Tried 3 times to tint it and failed all 3 times. Just something about the way it curved made it impossible for me to do.
