ya your right it is superior stock for stock performance wise and its probably worth more cash but i can almost bet your window switches and motors will be going out soon and those cars ride ruff as hell and rattle like no other the fox has more character and in time will be worth just as much if not more fox body's are a easy find but in the condition his is in not an easy find and for the price difference if you put that money in the fox you will walk that ls1 i would definetly stick with what you got the fox is also a better head turner a 02 ls1 camaro just looks like any other car on the road

Gotta agree with Keith on this one, either something is hella wrong with that guy's Camaro or he's a total retard to want to trade. LS1s are expensive to mod compared to 5.0s but you're also talking a cam/intake swap and tune on an LS1 and you'll see low 12s.

but that intake,cam,and tune on the ls1 is going to cost the same as a good h/c/i set-up for the fox and both will see low 12's it really comes down to what car you like better and come on guys why are we trying to talk the man into crossing that line over to chevy i thought this was the mustang forum

i'd take the camaro, as much as i hate to say it... but is it salvage title or something!? 18k for miles and he wants to straight up trade, wtf?!
I love my friends 98 trans am... i never thought i'd want a ls1 car till i rode in it...
if it's salvage or any previous accidents stay away, but if its clean then hell yeah i'd trade him.... sorry die hard fox guys, don't hate -_-
