Default new guy here, need some advice

i have wanted a 5.0 mustang for aslong as i can remeber and today i wound up trading for one. i traded for a 1992 gt, the only problem is it has been hit in the front end pretty good. it came with a 93 lx body for parts. i have titles for both so that part does not matter. the part i need advice on is would it be better to take the entire front clip off the lx and put it on the gt, or take everything out of the gt and put it in the lx? the lx has a pretty good body but the guy that had it before me was making it into a drag car so it is gutted. the gauge clusters, the steering componets, seats, everything. hopefully sobody can point me in the right direction. thanks everybody

This is a tough call without seeing pics of both cars. It comes down to how bad the damage is on the GT. I'd want to see the condition of the radiator support and front frame rails. That's where the REAL work is... while the hood, fenders, front bumper cover, on the other hand, are a piece of cake to replace.

if you try and repair the gt the bumper cover on the lx won't match the gt looks, as long as there is no core support or inner fenderwell repair that is needed, it's a simple transfer of parts, pics would help...got any??

if that's the case , you'll need a mig welder to install new core support and have some straightening done
