Default Let's Play What 'The Hell Is This?' Game

So I was installing my BBK Strut 3 Pt. Tower Brace and I ran into a snag. On the 3rd point (the firewall side) right where the mount would go, there was a little black box (refer to pic) right next to where the wiper fluid hose passes through. I undid the 2 mounting screws holding it on, and when I went to pull it away I found that both wires were loose. One an obvious ground with circular metal fitting at the end and the second was one of those connector sleeves (that you stick the ends of two wires into and then crimp it down on them).

So no you have a general Idea of where it was and what it looks like, here's a pic, the only details on the pic that you can't see are that there's a small allen head screw in the top (some sorta adjuster), and on the back the numbers 1-12 engraved in a small circle (like a clock).

So who's ready to play?

***Edit*** Pic is next to a Costco muffin, for size refference....Not cause I'm a fat ***.

i'm fairly certain thats not stock. do you have an alarm? could be to adjust the sensitivity of it. or maybe something for a audio set up. maybe even something that would go with an aftermarket ignition??
sorry i can't help you more.

When I'd took it off the fire wall the wires were just hangin there. I thought they were attached to somethin, but they were just hanging behind the engine. I'll be going wire hunting tonight just to see if they're still there and where they go.

I've added another pic, this one is the back and the sort of clock looking thing in the corner

It looks like the shock sensor for an alarm. Open it up and look inside of it.
