well good... then boost i shall. just wanted to get some sturdy opinions. now heres another question... turbo or s/c? i want the gas efficiency of the turbo but the power on demand from a s/c. and another is hydros or rollers?

you have a hydro roller set up. a well set up turbo will hit boost just as fast as any s/c with bigger benefits for the most part. just depends on how much trouble you want to go through to get a turbo vs sc. sc's are by far easier to set up/install vs a turbo set up.

If you want to add artificial atmosphere build a good bottom end. The weak link in the stock block other than the block itself are the rod bolts. As soon as one streches, Addios. Buy a good set of rods and pistons. The crank is so-so

well i found an article on building to 400 hp on a stock short block. and saw the dyno slips for evidence. (no i'm not a guy who races on dynos i hate that.) got something to do with head, rockers and headers. i think im gonna go that way. from what i've been reading, its just to much trouble to go through trying to boost this think. thanks for the info guys i appreciate it.
