Classic combo. I'm planning something similar.

I'd guess about 270 rwhp.

Price depends on where you score your stuff. Anywhere between $800-$1800 depending on how good of a bargain hunter you are.

www.latemodelrestoration.com sells that exact engine combo with all new parts and headers for about $1700. So that's the most expensive option.

yeah im going that route first now and then adding 255lph fuel pump maybe upgrading to 4.10 gears, 24lb injectors and adding the 125 shot wet with a shift kit hopefully reach 310hp and run mid 12s

Yeah (OP), I have no practical experience with either....

But the Trick Flow Stage 1 seems to be the entry level "off the shelf" cam of choice around here....

"alphabet" cams are supposedly all out dated in design.....but people seem to make very similar numbers with both of them (tfs1/e303) though..... from what I've seen.......

Also, I'd recommend doing the 4.10 gear swap BEFORE your H/C/I swap. Just to get you moving faster cheaper sooner......

really? i thought the e303 was decent atleast, i dont mind changing it for a trick flow if its a better cam and yes the 4.10s are coming before the H/C/I im also upgrading the suspension i was told by a buddy that with a 125 shot added to set up it would go from about 280hp to 375hp any inputs on suspension components?

Yeah, I've pulled many an engine (especially 5.0's) because the owner tried to powershift a T-5 with the hammer down and Nitrous throttle switch closed. They go quick at the trip to 10,000 rpm, lol
