Default Lost my job, need some advice!

So i lost my job today . I have another job ready for me but it's gonna be like a 40% pay cut. Looks like i'm gonna have to sell my precious subaru! I'm bored of it anyway, Someone wanna take over the payments? lol.

So i'm not sure whether to buy a cheap daily beater to replace the subaru, or make the mustang a daily beater and find a cheap car with a fixed roof (probably an old school dsm, God knows i'm a fan of turbo all wheel drives ) to make fast. I want to mod the mustang, but A lot of people are telling me it's stupid to make power on a convertible... Are sub frame connectors not enough for the vert to handle the power i'm looking at? (gt-40 top end, comp cam and ~150hp shot)??

hey thanks for the love, but it's not too big of a deal. I'll be making about the same money, but instead of working 20 hours a week, i'll be working like 35.

I'm a waiter and a full time student. I was working at a really nice restaurant bringing home like $25 an hour, and now i'll be going back to a chain restaurant bringing home around $15 an hour. Still not too bad; but definitely not the same. Waiting tables is an excellent job for college students with expensive hobbies :-D

I was lucky to even have that job! I went in with only one year of experience. All of the other servers were like 40, and mad that a 19 year old had their job. (I'm 20 now, almost 21)

I won't HAVE to sell the subaru, i'm just ready for a change. I'll be working too hard to be dumping all of that $$$ into a daily driver.

whoever said its stupid to make power with a convertible...

there are some really fast verts out there... of course, they require some more stiffening that a coupe would, but it hasnt stopped anyone yet...

look at Rbarn, an old member here, he has or had (he hasnt been here in ages) a twin turbo 351 vert he was building... 800 horsies...

Ive got a vert, hasnt stopped me, dropping the top is good stress relief, and da ladies love it....
