We drive our turbo car all over the place no shields (Yet) no wrap just some Jet Hot on the headers. I also would not go back to a S/C.

AND what about room, does it leave any room to change plugs wires etc.

my plugs are very easy all but the #5 as a matter of fact I can do them with the engine still hot all but #5 and it is still not that bad at all. and I have more room now then I did when it had a Procharger on it but I also took off the P/S due to the turbo. But it is much easier to work on then it ever was with the old S/C set up.
