Ok, after a bit of research.... it seems that the steering angle is the angle between the tie rod itself and the ball joint shaft on the tie rod itself.... therefore having the 94-95 arms with the steering joint a bit higher increases teh angle bringing it closer to 90 degrees, where as having the arm at a lower position causes the angle to be much less than 90, maybe 60. These degrees are arbitary as I have not measured them on my car... just for illustration.

Having a larger steering angle increases turning radius... thus having the smaller steering angle from the lower positioned steering arm will reduce turning radius? Is this the basic idea?

I've got to use rack limiters for the time being until I get tubular LCA's due to my 275 wide fronts. So investing in some stock 96+ spindles would be advantageous since my turning radius will already be crippled, for now...

i used spindles from a 94. it lowered the strut mounting by about an inch. to compensate for that i changed the spacers on the top at the caster camber plate. on the ball joint all i did was stack some washers enough that the castle nut would align with the ball joint cotter pin hole. no problems.

Its not like your turning radius will limit you making a turn, its just you might have to make a 3 pointer a little more often on narrow streets
