Brake Line Brackets

Brake Line Brackets
Question about the brackets that hold the front to rear brake lines to the body.
The stock brackets are riveted on and because of this I'm somewhat discouraged from removing the stock line to replace it with my new one....
But then again my new one is stainless steel and would look alot better than my rust brown colored stock line.
Should I get a small drill bit and drill out the center of the rivets... then use self tapping screws like the bolts that hold the front line brackets inside the wheel wells. Prob gonna have to get new brackets also, though.
Another problem. The bracket that holds the connection for the hardline and body to rearend flex line is also either welded/riveted on. Haven't looked into it too much. Can I just remove the line and leave the bracket in place? If not, any solutions on getting this out so I can clean it up and reinstall with my new lines.
Thanks.
