I'm getting my coupe painted and need to know if the "LX" emblem or the Ford emblem came on the trunk from the factory.

Thanks. I'm going to see how it looks without emblems when I get it back from the painter. Then decide if I want to put them back on.

this is what mine looks like without the emblems.well you need to figure it out before you get it painted cause the ford emblem has 3 holes that need to be filled it you leave it off.

Gotta have at least the Ford Blue oval (or at least fill in the holes!)

The only emblem mine has on it is the blue oval on the r/h side of the trunklid. No 5.0's on the fenders and no LX on the l/h side of the trunklid. It came from the factory that way. It's up to you bro, whatever you think looks best. My '91 hatch didn't have the LX either...

I did away with my Ford emblem on the trunk. I didn't like the look of it against the color of the paint.

Thats the only emblem that was on the trunk when I got it and just looks right to me. I will deffinatelly put that one back but the 5.0 may not. The car is getting painted black so it will look pretty good.
