Back from the Track
#11
The truth is, I didn't build my car to become a track warrior. The truth is, I didn't even plan on modyfying it when I first bought it. But the car was just too slow. And the mod bug hit. I visit the track maybe twice a year. I make a couple of passes just for fun. In all honesty, I care more about the mph then the actual time itself. A 93 trap speed really shows that the car is making some ground after the 60ft mark and proves to be a blast on the street. It's nice to know I have the power to run low 12's-high 11's, but I don't need to modify the suspension just to hit that mark. I wanted to make a sleeperish car(Looks bone stock, but lowered 2 inches). You're point is valid however, a good suspension is key, and I would have modified it if all I wanted was track times. My end goal is to hit a high 11(7.6 1/8th I believe). I think my main problem is my unagressive launch and poor tires. M/T Streets are deffenitley in the near future. But a 7.9(91) is a huge leap from the stock 10.3(67) it ran stock.
