Havent seen any 16's but did find some 17's on ebay

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/_Car-...1%7C240%3A1318

You could run a 15X 3.5 with about 3/8 of spacer. These thing feel lighter that my draglites. I wish I had one with the tire off. Rears will be here tommorow. I have mad clearance on the Currie 9 inch with the 11 inch explorer brake upgrade just sliding the 15X5's on it.

Thanks for the link...17's nice, but twice as much in cost! ...I'll have to research this a bit more!

...My sockers weigh like 55#'s each up front! ...What tire size on the 15" wheel you going to use?

I got the rears in today (photos later) and that "Mad Clearance" I was going to have turned into "Mad Grinding" on the explorer calipers. Plenty of room on the front of the caliper but having to take about 3/16 off the tops. At least there is plenty of meat on them. I'll post up some photos tonight. I should have known better. I say stuff like that and I end up eating my words every time. Can't do anything but laugh cause I'm too fat to kick myself in the azz, lol

After 4 hours of grinding and trial fitment over and over here are the rears. The lug studs just make it to the end of the nut. Washers are a little pain when you have to pull them over and over but learned a trick to run the lug down to just before the washer settles and then spin it in the hole. Ended up with .050 in the tightest spot between the wheel and caliper.

You can see how much I had to take off the top of the caliper

Wheel bolted down

I'd say so ^^^! ....I'm thinking about the 15" wheels (track only) & playing with some front wheel spacers!

...How do you think those 15x8's will work with my stock rear brake set-up? I think the rears on my Cobra the same as a GT...

My wifes 03 Gt with the upgrade has 11.65 rear rotors (same as O3 Cobra) after I did the brake upgrade. My Fox has 11 inch explorer brakes on the rear. I doubt seriously if the 15's are going on the rear. Stock GT rotors are somewhere around 10.5. I'll yank a rear wheel off the wifes car tommorow and see if the wheel slides on the rear. I wouldn't get my hopes up on that one, lol
