Default The epic quest to 12's

89 mustang gt 5spd mods:bbk shorties/American thunder flows cat back/3.73's/removed air silencer/K&N filter/stock heads and intake.

After tons of reading, questions, and threads started I believe these mods will launch me into high 12's herebare the mods and price let me know what you guys think.

Summit lowering springs $137.50
Sumitomo HTRZ high perfomance (275/40-17) back tires $236
Nitrous outlet kit from lmr.com $499.99
Bbk 255lph fuel pump $129.99
Summit H pipe 2.5in $98.95 or bbk Cnc o/r 2.5in H pipe $179.99
J&M full length sub frame connectors $99.99
Maximum motorsports lower control arms $249.99
March performance under drive pulley kit $51.88

I plan on hitting it with a 100 shot and also putting the fox on a diet to drop some weight um this is what I have come up with about the H pipes I have no idea which to choose between summit or bbk inputs would help also will this put me in high 12's? I'm guessing also maybe 300 rwhp with the shot. Anyways remember this is a daily driver that will see track time on weekends again any inputs or suggestions or hell even a better build for the money I will pay for this one will help

leave like your at a redlight if you are on stock tires. maybe about 3rd you can indouce the spray, but from a dig, you will be digging a grave. It will be much fun from inside the car and driving it, but it wll suck from the E.T. boards at the end of the tracks.

U/D pullies might get 5 hp to the tires, but can usually cause more charginging and cooling issues than they are worth. As far as tire, I only like the M/T tires. I run a drag radial, but to each their own

M/T radials in the back are what I run. It's not my daily driver mind you. But it works fine. When traction is that big of an issue, money is no factor.

Nobody seems to have mentioned it.... but since it's in the title of the thread I figured I would.

Bolt ons and a 100 shot will get you into the 12's no problem.

/thread.

Edit: How 'bout some 555's for tires?
