Default cold air induction problem

has anyone that has cold air induction driven in the rain and had their car start sputtering because of the water on the road? i had to take the 90 off and mount the filter back on the mass air filter. any new ideas?

^^Yeah, that's to free up some H.P. by reducing current draw! No, she's been sleeping for the winter, once the weather breaks going to get into the suspension. Thanks for the compliments.

Do you have a bypass for the CAI? Forgive the pic, it isnt a mustang CAI just using it for an example. Does yours have a piece that looks like that? it doesnt have to be chrome most are just a foam piece that has more resistance than the filter so it will work normally then if it gets harder for the engine to pull air through the regular filter it will pull air through the bypass so you dont get water in the cylinders. Hope this helps.

EDIT: The bypass still goes before the MAS (or is it MAF, not an FI guy) so the air can be metered
