explorer rearend..will it fit ?

explorer rearend..will it fit ?
Im going to look at a rear axle from a explorer tonight. The guy says its 8.8 with 3.73 gears, 5 lug , posi , with drums. he says its 60 inches from drum to drum. Will this fit in my 90 lx or will I have to get it cut ?
