Videos: Difference in straight pipes from headers to mufflers/ o/r X to mufflers

Hey guys awhile ago I posted a video of my 88 GT with a e303 cam, shorty headers, straight pipes from headers to Cherry Bomb Extreme (and once again, not glasspacks... they are identical to the 10 series race Flows, 1 chamber, 1 baffle).

Now... I installed a Magnaflow o/r X-pipe, with the same CB Extreme mufflers...and also the same 3.5"t tips as before. The sound difference is huge! I hope you H-Pipe guys don't hate on me too much, but hopefully you can appreciate the difference!

What do you guys think about how it sounds now? A bit more tone? haha Maybe not as much as 40 series flows or something... but I like it, I think it sounds damn mean. I can tell a huge change in performance too, which is very nice...

Sounds better, but still sounds like its too much bark for the bite.

Sounds pretty aggressive. I might consider getting some of those, but if you can't back up the sound with the speed then I wouldn't recommend those, cause from how those sound it will attract people to WANT TO RACE you nonstop. + cops would hear those from miles away haha.

ha I do agree it is a bit aggressive for what go-fast-mods I have done to it... but I like the sound now, as opposed to before.

and 86HOGT, I have 17" Saleens on order through AmericanMuscle right now

I hate the Centerlines on it now!

Hey

For those of you who know what an E303 cam sounds like, does it even sound like mine has one? The guy I bought it from said it does, but i just can't hear it.

It does sound much better, I also agree with a lot of bark for whats done to it.

Need a better idle vid for the cam.

We've got an e303, obviously different mods and exhaust ect it's not going to sound just like your car, but it'll give you an idea,
