Ok soo my orginal radiator went bad so i bought a 2 row all aluminum and installed it.. not thinking my temp gauge isnt working how do i know i got all the air pockets out? also when i feel the hose going from the radiator to the thermostat housing it feels warm but doesnt feel like any fluid is in it.. i kept the heater on high for about 5 min and it is blowing hot air.. any help im not trying to over heat it and blow head gaskets

get yourself a autometer temp gauge. the stock gauge sucked back when they are new, why would you trust them now, 15+ years later? fwiw, my speedo is the only stock gauge i look at and even thats not accurate because i run a 28" tire

LOL, This is almost laughable.....something that is so cheap and easy to fix, could end up costing you tons, the most important gauges in thre are temp and oil.......at all times you should make sure they work and if not fix it, could be as simple as a bad sending unit.

Don't feel so bad. I still rock all the stock gauges. Right down to the ammeter! Sooner or later they'll be replaced by Autometers in the dash, no a pillar pods or cheesy stuff like that. I'm thinkin' I'll buy a used cluster without gauges and make it look as factory as possible. Anyway...

You have heat, the hose is warm...

sounds like it's good to go.

The hose won't be terribley hot as rubber insulates and any heat will indicate that the thermostat is opening...
