I remember when you did the 5 lug conversion, because I still had to do mine. And I still haven't done it yet. However the car looks great. How someone could key such a beautiful car is out of this world? You must be making all the girls jealous =P

Thumbs up

That is one sick looking fox. I would love to run across someone keying it.

the 5-lug swap was pretty easy. the hardest part was actually getting the parts at the prices i wanted. i was on the search for a few months for good prices, and finally found some. i went to the local pick n pull here and got one ranger axle and one aerostar axle for the rear. and i bought drums and rotors from o'reilleys.

i did have one problem with the swap. when i got the new drums from the store, i noticed that when we put the wheels on and let them roll, they wobbled from side to side pretty bad and it wasnt safe to drive on. i thought that we got bad axles, but i decided to just swap the drums for new ones because without the drums on there the wheels rolled perfectly straight. and the drums were the problem. so, that was the only thing other than having a hard time finding spindles.

and 95greengt, the corvette is a 1971, with a 350 and 700r transmission. my mom bought it as a senior in high school, and has had it ever since. it doesnt come out of the stable very often because its been having some transmission problems. ive been telling my brother we need to get pictures of all the cars together, but we never have...
