Default automatic transmission troubles?

yesterday i pulled out of a parking lot and as i accelerrated my car suddenly started making a a rattly, loud, knocking noise in at around 2000 rpm in first and second but when im at driving speed of around 50 mph its fine. when i put the car from drive to overdrive it shifts a little sluggishly, and my car wont do a burnout in 1st gear anymore. the noise i described sounded to me like something got wrapped on the drive shaft and was knocking around. its a 1989 5.0 with the aod auto please help me out

for noise diagnosis you really need to jack the car up and get under it and pinpoint the source of the noise, locating the source of orgin without much info to go on is very difficult over the Net in 1 dimentional form

i dont get any noise in park or neutral today it made a squeeky whine at about 1500 up hill it was very loud tried a burnout wheels moved then there was a crunch from the area of the transmission so i let off then the squeeling noise has been worse from then on fluids in the transmission are fine first gear is where moist of the noise is at but in the start of second its there and starts to fade away after 2000 rpm seems to be worse now but im pretty certain its the transmission now

if the motor isnt the problem it has to be the tranny or the rear end because of the power loss
