a friend gave me a 1 inch spacer for the gt40 intake, does it make a diffrence with it on do i really need it

its supposed to add a little power, and keep heat off the upper intake.

if you have the hood clearance, id go ahead and install it.

The spacer dissipates heat more effectively than without one, thus creating more power. I actually tested it out with a guy at the drag strip. I had the spacer, he did not. His intake was much hotter than mine even after it had been sitting for an hour. I had just made a run ten minutes prior to the testing.It works. The problem is, you may have to modify your EGR.

Looks like you'll be fine with the hood in your sig.....go bolt it on
